NGLTF staffer to speak at Pride interfaith service
Cleveland Chevrei Tikva, a synagogue with an outreach to the lesbian and gay community, is proud to be the sponsor of this year's annual Pride Interfaith Service
The service will take place on Friday, June 26 at St. Albans/Etz Chayyim at 8 pm.

As always, clergy and lay leaders from Cleveland's many gay and lesbian and gay-friendly congregations will participate. This event has grown in popularity each year, and this year should be no exception. The Interfaith service is the only Pride event that celebrates gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender spirituality. We are grateful to St, Albans/Etz Chayyim for offering their lovely facility for this year's service.
The building that jointly houses the Episcopal congregation of St. Albans as well as Temple Etz Chayyim is located at 2555 Euclid Hts. Blvd., west of Coventry at Edgehill Rd. in Cleveland Hts.
The featured speaker at the interfaith ser-
vice will be Tracey Conaty, communications director of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, the country's oldest national gay and lesbian civil rights organization. As a founder in 1990 of the Washington, D.C.
group Gay Men and Lesbians Opposing Violence, Conaty has also conducted sensitivity trainings with that city's police department, acted as the GLBT community's liaison to the police department, and provided crisis counseling to victims of violence.
An Oneg Shabbat or coffee hour will follow the service, offering us the chance to meet members of other denominations who have come to celebrate their pride and their spirituality.
Volunteers are needed to provide Oneg refreshments and to help out as greeters and with set up and clean up the night of the service. If you can help, please call Chevrei Tikva at 216-932-5551.
